March 28 FPRA meeting: UCF Football’s National Championship

RSVP now for the FPRA Volusia/Flagler Chapter’s March 28 meeting, “Winning Communications Strategies of University of Central Florida (UCF) Football’s National Championship” with Andy Seeley, associate athletics director/strategic communications, UCF Athletics Association, Inc.

The luncheon meeting, which is open to public relations professionals, business people and the public, will be held at LPGA International, 1000 Champions Drive, Daytona Beach. Check-in and networking begin at 11:30 a.m., and the program starts at noon.

Andy Seeley joined the UCF Athletics staff in June 2012 as assistant director of Athletics for Communications. He was promoted to associate director of Athletics for Strategic Communications in 2016. He is responsible for the creation and implementation of a strategic communications plan, coordination of media coverage and serves as UCF Athletics’ primary spokesperson.

Seeley supervises the athletics communications office, is responsible for the department’s community relations efforts and serves as managing editor of UCFKnights.com, UCFKnights.TV and War-On-I4.com. He is the day-to-day media relations/communications contact for the Knights’ football program, the men’s and women’s golf teams and the UCF Athletics administrative team.

Please RSVP at least two days in advance. The cost, which includes lunch, is $20 for FPRA members, $25 for non-members and $18 for college students. Payment should be made online in advance; the cost is $5 more for members who pay at the door.
