“Smart. Engaged. Fun.” will be the topic when Florida Public Relations Association President Gordon Paulus, APR, CPRC, speaks at the Volusia/Flagler Chapter of FPRA on Wednesday, Sept. 26. Please RVSP by Monday, Sept. 24 to secure a spot for this event.

Paulus, a senior communications specialist at Gulf Power Company in Pensacola, took the helm of the statewide association for public relations professionals in August. He will provide a look ahead to the FPRA 2018-2019 program year, with his theme of “Smart. Engaged. Fun.”
Also at the September meeting, Paulus will install the Volusia/Flagler Chapter’s new officers for the 2018-2019 program year.
Paulus has been with Gulf Power for nearly 15 years and previously was a newspaper sports writer. He is a two-time past president of the Pensacola Chapter of FPRA and has served on the state FPRA Executive Committee for seven of the last eight years. An Arkansas native, he is married to Karen Paulus, who is the publisher of Snowbirds Gulf Coast magazine.
FPRA Volusia/Flagler’s luncheon meeting is open to public relations professionals, business people and the public and will be held at LPGA International, 1000 Champions Drive, Daytona Beach. Check-in and networking begin at 11:30 a.m., and the program starts at noon.
Please RSVP by Sept. 24. The cost, which includes lunch, is $20 for FPRA members, $25 for non-members and $18 for college students. Payment should be made online in advance; the cost is $5 more for members who pay at the door.
