“Social Media & Digital Marketing – Secrets and Proven Methods that Work” is the topic of the next program of the Volusia/Flagler Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association. The lunch meeting will be held at the Daytona Beach Airport (NOTE the location change!) and interested participants should register by or before Jan. 8.
Barry KuKes, Community Outreach and Marketing Director/VP for the Halifax Humane Society, will share social media, website and content resources during the presentation, and examples of several local businesses’ and organizations’ outstanding social media campaigns and strategies will be provided. Attendees will be invited to share ideas and success stories in a roundtable format. The goal is to learn from one another!
In addition to KuKes, who has more than doubled the Humane Society’s social media reach and engagement, presenters will include Amy Lukasik and Candi Breckenridge of the Palm Coast and the Flagler Beaches tourism office, and Cindy Dalecki, owner of Marketing 2 Go. Dalecki will moderate the roundtable discussion.
FPRA Volusia/Flagler’s luncheon meeting is open to public relations professionals, business people and the public and will be held at Daytona Beach International Airport, 700 Catalina Drive, Daytona Beach. Check-in and networking begin at 11:30 a.m., and the program starts at noon.
Please RSVP at least two days in advance. The cost, which includes lunch, is $25 for FPRA members, $30 for non-members and $20 for college students. Payment should be made online in advance to avoid a $5 upcharge at the event.
To support the Neighborhood Center of West Volusia, the chapter’s featured charity this year, attendees are asked to bring soup and/or crackers to be donated this month.
