The Volusia/Flagler Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association will be holding Media Day 2017 from 8 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Oct. 25, in the Media Room in the infield of Daytona International Speedway.
Public relations and communications professionals, business leaders and spokespersons are encouraged to register to attend this special event that provides the opportunity to connect with Central Florida print, television, online and radio reporters and representatives. The event will kick off with media panel discussions, followed by an opportunity to meet directly with media representatives.
Media Day 2017 will include a photo opp in Victory Lane and a hot lap around the world’s most famous speedway! Daytona International Speedway is sponsoring the event, and DIS Director of Public Relations Andrew Booth, longtime member of FPRA Volusia/Flagler, will host the event.
Registration fees are $35 for FPRA members, $50 for non-members and $20 for college students. RSVP online today; space is limited.
Due to Hurricane Irma, we are postponing our installation luncheon and meeting that was scheduled for Sept. 13.
Members and guests who had already pre-paid for a reservation, we will refund you or credit you for a future FPRA event.
Please stay safe through the storm, and we will be in touch soon about rescheduling.
